Michelle Sacks, Program Manager at Crime Stoppers of Houston. Michelle is responsible for the development and maintenance of prevention and awareness programs that emphasize personal safety, anti-victimization and how to safely and anonymously report crimes and potential dangers. Michelle was a bilingual teacher for six years before joining the non-profit world of prevention in 2011, working in both the Houston Independent School District and Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District. Michelle holds a BA from the University of Houston. Passionate about prevention, she serves as co-chair of Houston Independent School District's School Health Advisory Council, a committee member of Houston Area Council on Human Trafficking, member of the Houston-Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and a mentor to the Houston Police Department's Youth Police Advisory Council.
